Sacred Heart Watercolor Workshop Recording

Come join us for a lovely morning of rest, rejuvination, community, prayer, and painting!  To immerse ourselves in the love of the Lord as we enter into Lent, we will be creating our own Sacred Heart painting, along with putting a word/Scripture underneath for participants to finish.  It is a great way to immerse yourself in God's Word and create something to hang around the house as a reminder during Lent. 
 
This event featured an hour and a half zoom session with Katie Weiss, founder of Behold Visio Divina.  In this session, participants will pray with an image of the Sacred Heart and read through some Scripture on this theme.  Then, Katie will spend the rest of the time introducing the basics of watercoloring, will walk participants through sketching the Sacred Heart, painting it with specific techniques, and letting a word or phrase at the bottom.  Example of the final project is above.  
 
This is a recording of our past event.  You will have access to the recording to paint this piece on your own!
 
Supplies needed are as follows (included if you select "watercolor supplies and registration" option.
- Watercolor paints
- A flat paintbrush and a fine round brush
- watercolor paper (preferably cold press 6 x 8 paper)
 
Additional home supplies
- Glass of water
- Paper towel/napkin
- A pencil and pen
