Are you hosting a retreat or other event? We would love to come speak for you! We speak on themes of beauty, art, and prayer for groups of any size. Some group settings that our team has spoken at are women's small groups, University communities, Youth groups, Theology on Tap, virtual prayer gatherings, and conferences. Behold has given talks for venues such as Franciscan University, Christendom College, Frassati Fellowship of NYC, The Edith Stein Project, The GIVEN Institute, and The Catholic Women's Conference for the Archdiocese of Philadelphia.
Below you will see our speaker options. Katie speaks primarily in Ohio, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and New York. Madeline speaks in the Twin Cities area, and Alexandra speaks in Virginia. Other locations are possible by inquiry!

Our Speakers

Katie Weiss
Katie Weiss is the founder of Behold. Katie graduated with a degree in Theology and spent time in formation as a religious sister. Through her many years of experience in spiritual formation and art, she founded Behold after being deeply impacted by visio divina in her own life.
Katie has been speaking for the past decade. Main topics for speaking are: Visio Divina workshops and discussion, The Blessed Mother, Theology of the Body, The Feminine Genius, Prayer and Healing, Advent and Lenten themes, and Creating Art workshops.
Her talks and workshops have been featured in multiple venues, such as the Frassati Fellowship of New York City, the Edith Stein Project, Franciscan University, Christendom College, and the GIVEN Institute.
Madeline Larson
Madeline is a wife and mother from Minnesota. She studied Art History and Catholic Studies at the University of St. Thomas in Minnesota. It was there that she discovered two great joys of her life - art and the Catholic faith. She has loved sharing this passion for art and her faith through speaking.
Madeline is the founder of Ad Porta Caeli, a blog devoted to guiding others through sacred art. She is also a regular contriubutor for Behold's weekly newsletter, "The Weekly Dose of Beauty." She has a passion for sharing the Gospel and the truth that we were created for and made for beauty. Alexandra Yorks
Alexandra Yorks is a wife, mother, artist, and writer. She graduated from Fairleigh Dickinson University with a degree in creative writing. Soon after she spent two years as a FOCUS missionary serving the students at Western Connecticut University, many of which were artists themselves. She has a special place in her heart for youth, and spent much of her adulthood as a youth minister before getting married and becoming a stay at home mom. Encountering God through beauty has had a profound impact on her prayer life, and she strives to share the same divine intimacy with those around her.
Some of Alexandra's speaking topics include: JPII's Letter to Artists, Women Saints and Their Virtues, Beauty and Evangelization, Motherhood through the Lives of the Saints, Seasons of Waiting, and A Beauty that Wounds.
