Holy Spirit Watercolor Workshop - May 18, 2024

Come join us for a lovely morning of rest, rejuvination, community, prayer, and painting!  To immerse ourselves in the love of God as we approach Pentecost, we will be creating our own painting of the Holy Spirit!   It is a great way to immerse yourself in God's Word and create something to hang around the house as a reminder during this special liturgical season.
 
This event will feature an hour and a half zoom session with one of our team members, Alexandra Cernick.  In this session, participants will pray with the Scripture of Pentecost and then will be walked through a paint lesson.  Participants will be guided through some watercolor and sketch basics, along with some common situations that occur in watercolor painting. Example of the final project is above.  We will record this event for anyone unable to attend.

This event will be on Saturday, May 18 from 10:30 am-12 pm EST.  A few days before the event, participants will receive an email with the zoom link and additional information.
 
Supplies needed are as follows
- Watercolor paints
- A flat paintbrush and a fine round brush
- Watercolor paper 
 
Additional home supplies
- Glass of water
- Paper towel/napkin
- A pencil and a pen
