Holy Family Print - 5 x7"

This print is a  5x7" reproduction of the oil painting "IL DONO" by Sofia Novelli.  Sofia is an artist based out of Florence, and currently works as a commissioned painter and as teacher of painting at the Sacred Art School there.
 
This is a painting of a daily scene to meditate on the fatherly figure of Saint Joseph, on his relationship with Jesus and on the spontaneous and daily way of frequenting the Lord in simple every day gestures. The painting talks about an ordinary moment in the Holy Family - St. Joseph giving a gift to his son, a little wood hammer. This is a gift from a father, and deeply talks about the real gift who Jesus is, the gift from our Father, God.
