Our format.
Visio Divina is a form of prayer where one uses Scripture and images to lead to relationship with God. Below are the common steps we use in our Behold program.
Visio: This time is spent gazing upon an image,and praying how it speaks to one's heart
Meditation: At this stage, women are read Scripture aloud, and spend time pondering on the meaning of the image through reflection questions.
Prayer: Women are encouraged to make a prayer to God on what has been striking them in the image/Scripture
Contemplation: This is simply resting in God and is a time of divine intimacy.
Action: This is the stage where women ask God how they can apply the prayer time to their daily lives.
